4 SB titles in the Cap era as the best player on the team all 4 times.

Manning has better stats but can't win. Favre too, except he doesn't really have better stats. Marino no ring at all.

Montana had better teams around him.

Elway couldn't win without Davis.

Unitas and Starr played in a different era and it's hard to compare.

You can't forget the old guys...Johnny Unitas, Otto Graham, Bart Starr. That is why there will always be an argument on who is the best. But I would put Brady on the short list for sure.

In not particular order:
Montana
Brady
Aikman
Bradshaw
Unitas
Starr
Graham

It is now completely set in stone that he is in the top 3.

But it really is just an argument now between him and Joe.

I agree but dont forget Manning ( 48 ) and Favre ( maybe 80) more games, so their stats as far as TD/s and yards should be better. Kareem is no#1 in scoring and Karl Malone has more points than Jordan but not in cono. 6Sb's and 9 AFCG with a ragtag of WR except in 07 and we saw the 50 td season.

Sure as the best road playoff QB

That's why he is so mediocre during the season. He wants more road playoff games to add to his legend. I'm still trying to figure out what happened in New England this year. Someone didn't get the memo.

The sad thing is that people who hate the Patriots will never give Brady his due.

The only time he had a superstar wide receiver was Randy Moss. They broke all kinds of records and lost the SB. Even now he doesn't have a downfield WR. Everything is short to mid range and it's yards after catch. If Brady had a Jerry Rice like Montana for most of his career, I truly believe the Patriots would have at least 6 if not more SB Rings. Again, it can't be argued because Patriot haters refuse to see much of anything that Brady has done as an accomplishment.

Brady is under contract until 2018. Watching him play this past Sunday was not watching a quarterback past his prime. The Patriots have one of the youngest teams in the NFL. They have a few free agents that they really need to resign, but Belichick doesn't fall into the trap of overpaying players.........If Revis and Vareen are resigned, the Patriots may well follow Tom Brady to the podium after SuperBowl XL.

Hey 2 out of 3 aint, no need to get greedy. Balt in fact is has the second best HFA last 10 years. It was just Karma after the 07 fluke. Brady overcoming 2 14 point deficits and then 10 points in 4th quarter. Sherman doing the 24 after Revis gets block by a ref in endzone, and then another circus catch by Kearse( Tyree) and fluke win by Pats

I can't stand this comment. Moss. Welker was a top 5 WR in NE and Gronk is possibly a top 2-3 TE ever.

Well...enjoy the victory. I rooted against them the whole freaking way...and we now know how much that was worth.

I will say, however, that when both teams were struggling early in the season...I posted somewhere on here that it would be a Pats-Seahawks superbowl with the Pats winning. There is no way I'm going to try and dig up that post though...with the minimal amount of credit I would get for it anyway. I'll just pat my own back and move on :suds:

Top 1 in NE and no#4 in Denver. Welker wasnt a top 10 receiver anywhere except Pats, because he was the best they had after Moss left. Gronk has played half the games , if he wasn't injured half the time, sky would be limit

Welker was 32 by the time he got to Denver and still had 10 TDs. In his prime no doubt he was a top 5 WR

I'm like the college crowd and root for div first and then Conf. I rooted for Balt in the SB, because sick of the NFC is stronger BS. Now its 9-6 in favor of AFC in 2000's.

I guess its a matter of opinion, he was a k/o specialist at texas tech, SD and Miami. Belichick turned him into a slot receiver and worked well with Brady as first option and his no# receiver the years inc the one before he went to Denver, so he was no spring chicken, but again no#4 on Denvers roster , never mind the 31 other teams. Nobody thinks of Welker as a top receiver when talking about WR's. Just like Kearse or Baldwin, buts that all Wilson has to work with, 3 and 4's on any other team.

I'm a lifetime Peyton Manning fan, but when talking strictly career resumes I don't think there's anyone that beats Brady.
