In September, we had school days cancelled due to the heat index hitting well over 100 degrees and humid. We could have school cancelled (some already cancelled) on Monday because wind chills are so low.
How many other states can say they get schooled cancelled because the heat index reached well into 100s AND wind chill reached -35 or lower nearly every year?
