Would be interesting, my whole ? about the first 4 games is this; Why are 4 of the teams 16 seeds and other teams 11 seeds? Shouldn't all the teams be playing for the 16 seeds? Being a 11 seed, to me, shows your team is better than playing in a first 4 game.

Because the teams are complete different skill levels?

Wake and Mt St Marys should both be 16 seeds?

Nova should be punished and have to play a 16 seeded Wake Forest?

This Wake/K-State game is a pretty good endorsement of this opinion. Just sloppy basketball.

How about we take the 16 lowest rated low major leagues and next c year those 16 leagues send their regular conference champ to a "low major tournament" where the winner gets a bid to the big dance and the other 15 go to the NIT? That makes the regular season important in those leagues ( which its not now ) and the bonus is we could go back to 64 and still get in every team that had ANY kind of argument from a major or mid major league. We would have 11 extra at larges, better first round games and more value in the regular season. Plus that low major play in tourney would be fucking awesome every year as a ramp up to the big dance
