I'm no Will Smith groupie, but without him, this bores me a little. Also, I think they waited a little too long to come back to this. They may as well have waited another 10 years and then just remade it like they do everything else.

I'm just glad his kid didnt get the role, or did he.

I dont know, didnt look bad, they used the soundbite from the presidents speech in the first one and it almost made it seem like it was Kennedy speaking, so the time delay might be worked into the story. I mean decades would be needed to rebuild from the destruction from the first one.

Starship Troopers is awesome. Enders Game, blah. I'm going to see it. It looks like something you'd enjoy more on the big screen than a tiny 50" TV.

Enders game was awful. It's the usual result when you put a bunch Hollywood artisans in charge of a script about war.

I walked out of the theater when Ender starting crying like a little girl and screaming "I just killed an entire species!!"

Talk about ruining what could of been a great scifi movie.

Don't get me wrong I liked starship troopers enough to watch the dreadful sequels. I want to throw in aliens to the mix of what this movie is like.

bigger ship, they call it the queen ship. She is big, like the aliens queen but x10. They have to kill her to save the earth with 2 mins left mind you. The acting from the new characters was atrocious. Bill Pullman speech from the first is what pisses the aliens off and he also is the one to kill the queen bitch by suiciding himself. They leave it open for a 3rd installment by throwing in some friendly robot alien, that speaks English, that asks us to lead a universal alliance to kill the planet sucker aliens because she was but one queen in a universe full of them. Lol

Saw Independence Day Resurgence yesterday.....I hated it. It was a copy of the first one with Goldbloom squealing like a girl while flying, the alien around the neck talking thru the victim....just too similar and did not have that...WOW moment.

Saw it in IMAX and enjoyed watching it, thought it was entertaining. Obviously if you're looking for something deeper than a cheesy Sci-Fi action film with good CGI, you're going to be disappointed. But if you're looking for a bunch of shit to get destroyed and reminisce about the 94 movie, it's pretty entertaining. Experience was definitely enhanced seeing it at the IMAX theater though.
