This is my feeling about it.
Another weak attempt by Hollywood.
Bring back some of the original players, put in some good CGI with a terrible script and POOF, another movie I'm not wasting my time with.

Didn't even realize that was out. Just watched it, and yeah it was pretty meh. The more I really think about it, the more I don't get these new Trek films. They're not bad by any means, but they just don't feel like Star Trek. The first one fucked up Vulcan just so they could do whatever the hell they wanted without messing with the canon, but then they essentially just did Wrath of Khan for the sequel. This third one just looks like it will be a generic space adventure with Star Trek characters. I'm honestly more excited about this new show that may be coming out in the future.

Are you referring to Renegades? I have seen some of the POCs on youtube, and I am less than impressed. I am open to another show, I just want it to be good. Not a cross between Voyager and Enterprise.
