I wish the Denver game was a road game.

It would be a more measurable quality win, and I'd want to stick it to them on the road.

I'd rather just win. I can't worry about who or where we play. One, I can't control it. Two, they are so unpredictable. That includes winning games that are unexpected, but that also includes losing easier games and losing expected games. Denver on the road is an expected loss - could be a win, but ehh, I'll go for the better odds. If we were 3.5 games ahead, yeah, take the tougher test.

Rationale: We're not winning the championship. Despite my previous posts about getting a good draft pick because we're not winning the title, I'm not a personnel or draft guy and we could miss on that. I am a fan who wants to see more games before the off-season. I want Hayward and a few others to win. Even some that won't be here next year. Corbin is not being fired one way or another, though making it this year makes it harder to fire next year if we miss - especially with the great expected turnover in players. So, those on the fire Corbin train should 1) root for losses wherever and 2) expect him for at least another year or two. Without a GM change, there won't be a HC change - not because our GM is a Corbin guy, just more that it's easier for a new GM to start cutting trees.

Quick answers:

* I don't believe in playoffs experience.

* I want to make the playoffs.

* There isn't much of a difference between mid teen or late lottery picks. If your GM is good, he'll get someone good or use the pick in a trade. I don't know if the GM is good though, as Valanciunas was my pick in 2011, and I think he's still better than Kanter this year. That's just one example.

* Please dominate most of the rest of the way.

More quick answers:

* The Bulls are smelly and will always be smelly until the Jazz have tied them in series head to head wins in the playoffs.

* The Spurs, especially at the SBC Center in the playoffs against the Jazz, are smelly (recent history).

* Denver's home winning streak in the regular season is smelly.

The Jazz must get rid of the smelliness!

Nuggets will decide if they win this game or not IMO. They have more talent, and are getting what they want in the paint. Turnovers are the only thing that can stop them.

I also expect them to start getting to the foul line more.

We aren't shooting well. And if we are resting our laurels on D, it's over.

Miller is better than Lawson, and capable of playing 40 minutes if necessary.

They showed a stat where Nugs score 10 less pts a game with Lawson out.

According to this, Lawson has a - net +/-, because the defense is better with him off by more than he helps the offense:

Offense: Pts per 100 Poss.

112.6 109.0 +3.6

Defense: Pts per 100 Poss.

107.7 102.9 +4.8

Net Points per 100 Possessions

-1.2
