It's, not as bad as i first thought. The pain isnt too bad and it only hurts for about a minute then it subsides, this occurs about 3 times an hour. The constant tingling is driving me nuts though.

Right now thats my concern. My eye isn't currently affected but my eye lid is irritated, with no blisters or redness.

I'm cleaning it all (except near my eye) with peroxide and which hazel.

I might have accidentally sped up the healing process. Was painting cabinets and scraped the rash area. There was some yellow shit on the cabinet I had to clean up but rash area has less blisters.

Wife and i have been trying to get the vaccine for a couple of years, but the vaccine has been on short supply. Finally got the first shots last week, second shot is due in a few months.

Update. So I got the first shingrix shot in Oct, I doubled down with a flu shot. Usually I pass on the flu shot because it gets me feeling sick, and I rarely catch the flu, but with my wife being in the HIGH Risk category for Covid, I thought it was the right thing to do. Of course I got sick and it was way worse than usual, I assumed it was the flu shot that got me.

Yesterday I got dose #2 of the shingrix, and it completely fucked me over.

In hind sight I wish I just risked the Shingles again.
