Big Red in the Big Ten!
But can someone explain to me why Miami is getting the Nets in round 2? Being the 6 seed and Washington the 5, shouldn't the Pacers (the 1 seed) be getting Brooklyn in round 2?
The NBA does not reseed like the NHL used to do
what's there to be confused about? The 1/8 winner plays the winner of the 4/5 1st round series and the winner of 2/7 plays the winner of 3/6.
Miami was 2 and Brooklyn was a 6 seed so they play each other
I thought the 1 seed always had the highest remaining seed left in a bracket. Like the NCAA bracket.
Oh well...

They would if the NBA re-seeded. But they don't. Had Toronto won, then it would be #2 Heat vs. #3 Raptors and #1 Pacers vs. #5 Wizards.
I didn't realize that was reseeding. I have gone through my entire life thinking that the 1 seed always got the highest remaining seed throughout the playoffs.
Like this...
That is not a reseeding bracket either...
I know. Now...
Biggest brain fart I have ever had.
