Before the season ends right?
Doubt any ACC team leaves for the SEC
That means it's either a Big East or Big 12 team.
Won't be Big 12, contractually impossible for 6 years
You know very well that contracts don't mean anything anymore.
Did Missouri not sign the contract? The SEC could always go out and snag them.
Mizzou has to make a decision. I would give them till 3 monday to sign. They don't have an offer on the table from anyone in reality.
Everyone will have to sign to move forward.
The best move IMO for the SEC is TCU. They don't really want to go to the Big East, and it gives the SEC another Texas school/market share
What's the purpose of adding another Texas school, though?
I don't know why the SEC is after a&m or anyone for that matter, Alabama gets who ever it wants for the most part from California to the East coast. UA has been rescuing kids from Texas for decades and generations.
Get more market share of the Texas TV market. UT is always going to be the major draw. But two Texas schools in the SEC increases their ratings and recruiting presence.
Really, what other options are out there for the SEC that make any sense? VT? WVU???
TCU doesn't add anything to the TV market... A&M doesn't even add that much
To hear the SEC tell it they have to have academics so the only logical choice is Rice...would that give them the Houston market though?
If the SEC is smart, they go after TCU....try to get as much of the Texas market as possible.
