Other thing that stood out to me is that we have never been ranked number 1.

I have felt for a while the only thing desperation g us in the stat book from the elite is the lack of a NC. Maybe someday.

I think most WVU fans feel the same way, YET, BYU has the NC AND a Heisman trophy winner (plus a good tv market) and it looks like the B12 isn't interested in them as a conference member .

The Big XII is interested. But who is their dancing partner? The conference is also reactive and not proactive in the realignment landscape.

BIG operated with 11 teams , why not us? I mean 12 or 14 is ideal I guess but..

The seem attached to being round robin. If you go 11 then you can't so round robin play anymore. But I'm with you bud, it's been done and can be done.

The only time we were ranked # 1 was the week before 13-9 in the coaches poll

I think we are not really at a disadvantage at all...nothing says we have to expand...we have the big player programs in our conf so they are never not going to include us in anything. Being at ten teams we will probably keep earning more cash than most the other confs. Teams will stay as long as our conf is profitable.
