Just watch it. It can't be summarized.
Kevin Spacey and his corrupt rise from congressman to President, doing whatever it takes to get to the top. I'm trying to not spoil anything.
Yeah I was thinking that too. You could kind of see where he was angling from the start, though.
Minus the little bit of bickering here this is a great series. I just finished season 2 and whoever is writing this deserves a award.
A lot of spin and very entertaining.Season 3 is a long time away unless Netflix gets off there ass and gets it rolling quicker.
I loved season 1 and generally a 2nd is the test if it has the balls to continue, IMO it exceeded my expectations.
Now tell me BF4L, how exactly did it "exceed your expectations"?
:
Exactly. After the first episode you could tell what his intentions were. Calm down people.
Really want to discuss it in here, but I've only finished the first two episodes and I'm worried of spoilers. Best show left on after Breaking Bad and Dexter cancelled. Kevin Spacey's portrayal of Frank Underwood has been masterful and the show is amazingly well scripted.
My only concern is how long will it keep going? The show is dependent on Kevin Spacey and television is still considered 2nd best to movies, how long until Spacey decides to go back to making movies? Luckily a third season has already been renewed. Hoping that Spacey recognizes the great thing he has going here.
Amazing acting and the plot lines are awesome. For me generally sequels or season 2's etc are much harder to keep me interested. This one did.
I was using Frank Underwood voice there, if you didn't catch it. ha
My favorites: "After all, we are nothing more or less than we choose to reveal."
Or
"What you're asking is just short of treason."
"Just short? Sounds like politics."
SPOILER BELOW
Well not to belabor it or maybe I will. Of course it's been obvious that the presidency was a goal since the first episode. But when you give away the fact that he was successful this season I'm guessing that will tend to eliminate the suspense surrounding a few plot points along the way. Just sayin'
