Ok, I admit I was exaggerating on the Canadian football comment AND, he did play way better than I thought he would. He still has a ways to go. We'll see. Keep the post, it may come back to haunt you.

On a second note, I was actually more surprised about his salary. 32 million over 4 years is a lot of money for that team to pay a rookie. I thought Cleveland was going to try and go cheap as usual. Maybe the owners have decided to give back to the team and try and make something of them instead of keeping all the profit for themselves.

I don't have a problem with drafting Mayfield in the first round, but they are idiots to lose out on Barkley. They could have gotten Barkley and had a QB left to draft at #4 -- and likely mayfield would have been open with the 4th pick. Just absolutely dumb. Unlike Mayfield, I think Barkley is a rare talent.

Chubb is better! Was better and no need to waste 1 or 4 on a R when Chubb was available in Rd 2!

This is my call on things even last year I thought at 33 or 35 they'd take Chubb and he'd be the steal of.the draft! IMO I'd of taken Bradley Chubb at 1, ward at 4 and Nick Chubb at 33 or 35!
