GTFO COlorado
They're supposed to fit in 6,000 more seats and they've certainly gotten the gifts to help them do it. Its just that there is a lot of construction going on right now (which is a very good thing for any town)Are they closing that hill off and putting bleachers there?
Has any program fallen off as much as Colorado?? I mean a NC in the 90's, numerous top 10's in the 90's and had a shot at a National title game as recently as 12 years ago but havent been to a bowl since 07??? I mean when 50%+ of CFB teams make a bowl and you go 6 years without making one that is pretty fucking dismal. That has to be the longest active streak for a BCS team right???

We've been a 2nd tier team in both for a bit. The problem is that the first tier in college football is much stronger because basketball has the 1 and done players. We are getting some really good recruits and churning out an NFL prospect every year but our offense is based around being able to pass the ball down the field and we can't do that at the moment.Truth is, Missouri was invited into the conference for their strength in basketball, not football.
They did go to 7 straight bowl games before falling off last year.Missouri last won a Conference Championship in football in 1969.
Missouri last won an outright Conference Championship in football in 1960.
I'm not sure what you expect from them all of a sudden.

And last year was really disappointing in basketball. We had a really good team but our best player couldn't shoot.
I remember growing up in the Big 8 and Nebraska, Colorado and Oklahoma ran the joint in football.

Well this thread is ironic as I look back at it....
