Are they closing that hill off and putting bleachers there?
They're supposed to fit in 6,000 more seats and they've certainly gotten the gifts to help them do it. Its just that there is a lot of construction going on right now (which is a very good thing for any town)

Has any program fallen off as much as Colorado?? I mean a NC in the 90's, numerous top 10's in the 90's and had a shot at a National title game as recently as 12 years ago but havent been to a bowl since 07??? I mean when 50%+ of CFB teams make a bowl and you go 6 years without making one that is pretty fucking dismal. That has to be the longest active streak for a BCS team right???

Not only that, but in a world where College football rules and brings in millions upon milions of dollars, they are broke.

They are not only losing in the PAC, but aren't even competitive. Hell, they can barely compete with small schools in California in their OOC!!

Its a pathetic joke. Still pissed the PAC decided to take them.

As for streaks without a bowl. Tennessee has to be approaching that, don't they?

Truth is, Missouri was invited into the conference for their strength in basketball, not football. :suds:

We've been a 2nd tier team in both for a bit. The problem is that the first tier in college football is much stronger because basketball has the 1 and done players. We are getting some really good recruits and churning out an NFL prospect every year but our offense is based around being able to pass the ball down the field and we can't do that at the moment.

And last year was really disappointing in basketball. We had a really good team but our best player couldn't shoot.

Missouri last won a Conference Championship in football in 1969.
Missouri last won an outright Conference Championship in football in 1960.

I'm not sure what you expect from them all of a sudden.

They did go to 7 straight bowl games before falling off last year.

Missouri doesn't usually make a lot of noise, they typically go 8-4 with a win against a team they weren't supposed to beat and a loss to a team they weren't supposed to lose to.

THIS ^^^^^ MIZZOU was barely competitive in the Big 12, so no surprise they're barely competitive in the SEC.....

Missouri was never much in the Big 12 or Big 8.

They have had a few decent seasons here and there......but mostly average seasons...

They are never truly good. And they are never totally terrible.

Its a basketball school mostly.

It is not quite Duke, Kentucky, or Kansas hoop crazy lopsided. (95/5)

It is more like Maryland in its basketball first identity. (65/35)
