This why people who hate basketball/don't watch should avoid commenting. Miami were a good road team early in the year & a shitty home team. They won 4 road games since the start of February while they have won 8 of their last 10 home games. We have not played solid on the road since the end of June

Heat Road Games-
November- 76ers, Hornets, Mavericks, Hawks, Nets, Magic, Knicks. Heat went 5-2.
December- Wizards, Bucks, Grizzlies, Suns, Nuggets, Jazz, Nets, Pacers Heat went 3-5.
January- Rockets, Trailblazers, Clippers, Lakers, Warriors, Kings, Hornets, Bulls. Heat went 4-4.
February- Celtics, Pistons, Timberwolves, Spurs, Cavaliers, Knicks, Magic, Pelicans. Heat went 3-5.

That's right, the Heat won 1 more game on the road during Nov & Dec than they did during Jan & Feb.
Clearly they were much better on the road in the early part of the season.

As I said, you should look into the history of why this thread was created.

I'm sure that would be fascinating, but I'd have no idea where to find the written history of the wiggy & bksballer show.

Regardless of any of the history, if I were a fan of a sub-.500 team (be it a basketball, football or baseball team), I sure as shit wouldn't start a trolling thread, jerking off about winning one game against a rival, without expecting a certain amount of blowback, but that's just me.

That all said, my interest in this thread has been sated. You folks enjoy your days.

They won 4 road games in 2 months. And I'm pretty sure entering February, their road record is much closer to the league average than their home record

The Heat was 11-11 on the road through the end of January.

its probably clear to the majority of folks that the Cavaliers 17 game home streak had a lot more to do with it then the negligible difference in Heat home/road games- but certain people take facts different ways apparently.

That is very good. Most top nba teams strive to be around 500 on the road or a little better & be dominant at home...that formula gets you around 54 plus wins easily. A pert example of this is Portland. They're currently 500 on the road & are already at 48 wins with 8 games remaining. They'll be around 53-55 wins by being an .500 road team

If you're a dominant home team you can win 55 games even if you're .500 road team. Most teams would gladly take a 500 road record because they know they'll win 30 plus home games. Miami weren't so lucky.

November- 76ers, Hornets, Mavericks, Hawks, Nets, Magic, Knicks. Heat went 5-2.
Of these teams, 2 are currently above .500. Miami went 1-1 against those 2 teams.

December- Wizards, Bucks, Grizzlies, Suns, Nuggets, Jazz, Nets, Pacers. Heat went 3-5.
Of these teams, 2 are currently above .500. Miami went 0-2 against those 2 teams.

January- Rockets, Trailblazers, Clippers, Lakers, Warriors, Kings, Hornets, Bulls. Heat went 4-4.
Of these teams, 5 are currently above .500. Miami went 1-4 against those 5 teams.

February- Celtics, Pistons, Timberwolves, Spurs, Cavaliers, Knicks, Magic, Pelicans. Heat went 3-5.
Of these teams, 3 are currently above .500. Miami went 0-3 against those 5 teams.

March- Wizards, Raptors, Thunder, Bucks, Celtics, Hawks. Heat went 1-5.
Of these teams, 4 are currently above .500. 0-4 against those 4 teams.

What does all this mean? Of course the Heat were a better road team in the beginning of the season, they didn't have to play as many good teams and they took advantage.

Miami is currently 2-14 on the road against teams above .500.
