Met a K State college kid at a Texas game once. He flopped down next to me, seeing double and yammering about something. I asked him if he'd had too much to drink, and he yammered some more, than stood up and wobbled along.

Also met a crowd of rowdy NC State fans, on a very hot, 95 degrees, 90% humidity night with no breeze in Austin.Maybe Mack's second season. Their offense had about 100 yards total offense the entire game, yet they won on three blocked punts/TDs. Damn that was a shitty night.

The people didnt really leave much of an impression, they were nice enough I guess.

I've came across at least one fan of every other P5 school either here, on Fannation or IRL, but I can't recall ever meeting a fan of any of those 4 schools.

Fiancee's cousin is a big TCU fan. As for the others, I met Danny Ettling who went to Purdue so not sure if it counts.

She had on a jersey, tight jeans and kept bringing me beer until the ugly girl at the table behind me started looking good enough to talk to. I did, but all I can recall is she was one of those people who forget to close their mouths when not talking. The KSU fan chick bluntly told her an agape mouth wasn't a good thing to have with an Alabama fan around. I laughed, but had actually been thinking the same thing.

Two most appropriately named towns I know are west and north of Lubbock. Levelland, TX and Plainview, TX. Definitely level and plain.

Your dog can run away from home and you can watch him for three days before he gets out of sight.

Driving at night from Odessa, TX to Lubbock, TX, you can see the lights of towns up to 25-30 miles away. I ain't shittin'.

These days, the Purdue fans here in Southern Indiana are typically alums but back when Purdue football(late 1990s-early 2000s) and basketball(1990s-2010) were decent, you would see many more "fans" around here.

I didn't have any reason to hate NC State fans BEFORE going to their stadium multiple times...

Their fans treat our game like their Super Bowl, and they think we are their rival.
