After they possibly lowballed Osweiler. That is why I stated the this is based on the asssumption that the Redskins give Cousins a fair offer (which I believe will be the case). Also the Osweiller situation was completely different. They really didn't show a lot of confidence in him & he likely viewed that to mean that he might not be the starting QB for long in Denver. That is not the current case for Cousins.

I thought the money difference wasn't that big. Elway came back with a new offer that was close to Houston's.

That could have been the case, but a strong counter offer is a lot different than a strong initial offer. Again - if the Skins try to somewhat lowball Cousins than I could see him leaving. However - I have no worries in this area - they will work this out somehow.

You take the 8 point lead b/c the Pats cant beat u only tie you. Are you saying that you agree what Mike Tomlin did? They took 4 points of he board and that whole game changes if they gotten the Xp's. It's bad coaching. No doubt about it. These guys are making Gruden look like Bill Walsh. lol . You never take points off the board in the first half.
you take the 9 point lead and end it right there

i am saying you put the game away if you can knowing the pats will kick the extra point and go to OY rather then the highly risky 2 pointer as you say

The Giants were not eating clock. They had to call a play before the two minute warning. The clock had to stop regardless. Which makes the run call even more bizarre. They got lucky it worked.

What? I didn't understand that post. Kicking the Xp u go up by 8 and cant lose in regulation. Any sane coach plays it that way.

What BS? you don't know what you are talking about. The 3rd down play was run before the 2 minute warning. The clock was stopping regardless of what happened.

you get the 2 go up by 9 game over , if you miss you have a good defense and you are up by 7 if the pats score most likely the kick the extra point and go to over time at worst

as it [played out they made the right choice on the field and not in theory but real time

Then you are contradicting gk and your own theories. You guys are saying the Pats would have gone for two if they scored.

Monday Morning QB? LOL. There is only one person in this thread questioning the decisions of several coaches - two who have won SBs. It sounds like you only agree with coaches decisions when you would have made the exact same choices. Hmm - so if these guys are so bad how did they attain so much success?

BTW - for the record - the Steelers didn't lose because of a few conversion related decisions by Tomlin. They lost because they could not stop the Cowboys from scoring TDs twice within the last few minutes of the game. You also have to give Dallas credit for that.

Oh cmon socal. These coaches made some bone head moves Sunday. Yes by not kicking the Xp it changed he whole game for the steelers. Tomlin took 4 points of the board in a close game.

that statement is laughable

What is laughable is you in late game situations. You don't think the Giants got lucky picking up the first down on a draw play in that situation? they took the ball out of their HOF QB's hands.

If you have a 7 point lead, it is the same as an 8 point lead. They will tie if you are up 7 because they will kick the XP. If you go up 8, they will will tie because you wouldn't stop them.

I didn't watch the Pitt game...no idea. My question for you is...why is it bad coaching when Gruden goes with convention, and it is bad coaching when PC and MT go against convention? Oh...both of those guys have coached winning SBs.
