Harvin and Willson will play Saturday

Harvin and Willson will be active and will play against the Saints on Saturday. That's great news on both fronts! This link doesn't have the Willson news, but it's mentioned on the KOMO Facebook page that he'll be playing too.

Glad to see Harvin's going to be there. He's going to be that game changer from the last game that NO can't prepare for.

I have to say I'm surprised to hear about Willson after looking at that injury happen. It looked bad and I'm glad he'll be able to go as well. His speed out of the TE spot could be huge if Harvin's there too to take some safety help away from a post route.

I've very surprised. Going from high ankle sprain and carted off the field 2 weeks ago to playing in this game. Pretty amazing.

Harvin is speaking to the media right now and says he is full go for Saturday's game. Says he feels good and has been able to get in and out of his cuts with no issues and that's something that is better than where he was a few weeks ago.

When asked about the change from possibly going on IR to now ready to go he said Carroll came to him a week ago monday about the IR and he said "Coach I'm ready to play now" and it went from there. He insists he is ready to go because he has been sticking to his physical therapy and workouts.

When asked if he was going to have any limitations in this game he said not that he was aware of. He said he would be doing everything they had planned all season long including kick offs.

N.O. 24th ranked special teams and now maybe worse since backup LBs are often used on ST and now one of their backup LBs has to start on defense, so he will probably be replaced on ST with someone who is possibly worse.

Can't wait to see what Harvin does to their defense!

Pete on the radio now and was asked if Harvin was playing Saturday and he said yes, he is a full go and he is excited to see him play. Mirrored much of what Percy said about how they came to let him play instead of putting him on IR.

Asked if he had any limitations in terms of snap counts etc, Carroll said no. He is going and has no restrictions. Said he didn't expect him to play with any reservations or hesitation. He expects him to go full out for the game.

Think about it. All we hear from SF fans is ignore their earlier games because they have Crabtree back now and are a totally different team. Seattle now has arguably the most explosive offensive player out there coming in to add to our offense and no one has any bloody idea what plays we are going to run with him as there is almost no film on him as a member of our team.

If Crabtree makes SF a different team, what does a seemingly healthy and full go Percy Harvin make us?

HAPPY AS CAN BE. That's what it makes us.
