If you add DT, I would do the deal.Well now in that case if you eliminate Demaryius Thomas from it, I'd rather have Shady and Josh Gordon.
I'd rather use Shady and Gordon to get one RB better than McKinnon. Lee is irrelevant. Has he ever played 8 games in a season?
I see a private settlement taking place in the McCoy case. It would benefit both parties and already the lawyer has stated that she may have been mistaken. Don't think the NFL wants another problem nightmare and will ignore it if there is a settlement.
If that's the case, McCoy has the better track record and it's not even close. Linebackers are a dime a dozen.
I'll stick with the McCoy Gordon side.
Shocked how many people are taking Shady and Gordon.
Guys, Shady's career is quite possibly over. He does not have to be proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt. If Goodell thinks Shady might be responsible for this (I think he probably is), Shady is done.
There was a pretty solid case to be made for McKinnon over Shady before all this nonsense.
I know some on here still love Josh Gordon, but it is also highly unlikely he ever gets back to being more than a WR2. He is a solid player, also with a lot of risk, but not nearly enough to make up for the gap in value between McKinnon and Shady.
McKinnon is the jewel of this trade. The side getting him isnthe winner, hands down.
Yup. I can see projecting McKinnon to have a better year than previous, but he was ranked 34th I think for RBs, and McCoy was too 5"Shady is done" is not exact. Nobody knows for sure. I'd be looking to move him too, but not as if he has played his last game.
Lee is much closer to being "done". He's always hurt, no longer a tackling machine and gets no sacks. And they just drafted his successor.
Gordon is a wild card. Could be amazing. I've always shied away from him for obvious reasons, but he made me question myself last year...looked pretty decent.
So, is a wild card and Shady worth JMK? Not in my book. JMK is a sub 4 ypc little guy. We've never seen him with a 200 carry season. Can he match what Hyde did last year? Maybe. Maybe not. They paid him to do so, but that doesn't mean much.
But acting like he is already great is a mistake, imo.
I know that for me, I think McKinnon can compare favorably with Shady, isn't that I'm expecting a top five season from him, but rather that Shady, given the losses along the line and the QB switch/downgrade, is being given far too much credit to be ranked that much higher.Yup. That a heck of a leap of faith for McKinnon. His contract is set up so the 49ers can move on from him after this year if they wish.....

As Tlance mentioned, it was already questionable as to whether Shady was worth a second rounder..it isn't because he suddenly sucks, but the entire Bills offense is likely to really suck
Definite possibility. Think he's proven he doesn't require much more than his personal opinion to drop the hammerI think these guys are also drastically underestimating the power and ego of Goodell.
