Who ever said such a thing? I don't think he will be better or worse. He has been groomed to be the same person. He is the same person. Stern = Silver, Silver = Stern.

You are hoping he is the same person - remember that being groomed for a job does not replace a man with 30 years of experience doing the same job. Silver or whoever might be twice as wrong and bad.

I am hoping he will be better but I don't realistically believe he will be. I honestly believe that Stern will still be in control behind the scenes...or at least have my suspicions.

The concussion scandal has tarnished Tagliabue's legacy even if most of the public doesn't care. Stern is the best commissioner of my lifetime.

This what I was thinking because David Stern governed the NBA through to many years for anyone to even remotely consider changing it and let's be honest here fans - the only ones that really hates Stern is the Lakers fans because of the Chris Paul trade being vetoed. Surely everyone can see now that the was a horrible trade for New Orleans

You have a point, but I don't think it's boring as you say, but the game has slowed down too much do to stoppage of play on silly calls & new rules.

The day the Suns win a title will be the day that we get over the fuckery known as the 2007 Semis. I know it gets old but if your team was robbed of it's first possible championship, you would feel nothing but resentment. Unfortunately, I think the NBA will fold before my Suns ever win anything.
