Meh
Am I correct in assuming that Golson will lose this upcoming year (sitting), b/c he was already red-shirted once? That is if he, indeed, comes back as he says ...
I think we will lose games this year; but I do think tommy will be just fine. His maturation process has been pretty impressive IMO and although I think Everett is the guy I also think tommy will perform a LOT better tha his first year as it relates to turnovers and decisions.
Go Irish!
U have 6 years to play in college sports once you start. So I think the answer is no. He wont lose a year. Not 100% sure
I thought you only got a 6th year with an appeal to the NCAA, usually for medical reasons. I know J Slaughter was denied a 6th year. If that is the case, I doubt they would approve a 6th year for an academic issue like Golson's.
Hoping Hendrix starts. More upside with him then Rees. Can run and has a bog arm. Only problem his decision making isn't great but to be Honest either is rees with all those Ints. I do think most of the Ints is his non ability to execute the play.
Does anyone else think Hendrix is simply content with getting his premed payed for? I can't think of another reason why he isn't starting and never seems to be in conversation to start when Kelly talks about QBs. Seems like he likes being a backup...
I heard that he did not do well, at all, during the Blue/Gold game and he's not progressing well as expected so far. Gunner Kiel may be kicking himself right about now???
U are allowed to take a year off and then come back if it falls under the 6th year. Golson not playing football has to do with academics not football so he will have 6th years. When he comes back he will be a Red shirt Soph in football terms. He will still have 2 years left. Now ND can make a stand and tell him he only has 1 year left. That is on ND.
