Goldson or Smith?

Who would you rather see as our starting FS? I would like R. Smith. Goldson seems like he is only good for the big hit. He was late getting to cover some RB's out of the backfield and allowed them to gain many yards against HOU. I just like the combo of Whitner and Smith. I think they compliment each other better.

I say give it to Goldson with R. Smith getting plenty of work in the nickel.

If he struggles at all early, I wouldn't hesitate pairing up Whitner and R. Smith.

Out of these two I still wouldn't go with Goldson. Williams has outperformed him in the preseason and I'm assuming that may be because he knows more of the playbook than Goldson(by about 1 week).

I think it's pretty clear to me from the preseason games it's going to be Whitner and Goldson starting. It would then be Goldson's job to lose to Reggie Smith.
