Hmmm.. Not pleased with this. Grapes is right, they could overcompensate.
On the other hand, it was approved by both teams.

you just cant give any credit to any canadian goal tender before its luongo had a great defense and now its carey has a great defense. you just WONT give any straight credit to the goalie. Price was fucking spectacular this game. so was quick. the defense was solid but it wasnt the reason they won. it was PRICE.

I gave Price credit. He played well. I also watched the game & Team USA didn't have any great opportunities. They got nothing in the slot. There weren't any odd man rushes. Canada was the better team & Price was certainly part of that.

I look at it another way. we had our rivalry game, and now we get another top notch game.
if it's just against US, you only get one of those.

that's why I was happy the semi's were Can/US and Swe/Fin
both huge match-ups in their own right, to be followed up be the gold medal game.
