Random question: Are we getting new uniforms for next season? I was wondering this since VT retired the logo that was on our jerseys these past couple of seasons.

I cant blame them. Defending national champ vs a 7-6 team that had to win 2 games in a row to get in a bowl game. Also remembering what they did to Michigan to open last year granted Michigan was over rated.

Not surprised by that spread. This is the first time I can remember going into a game thinking we had zero chance to win. I'll hope, cheer, and dream about winning, and it won't dampen my party that weekend. I just can not construct a scenario where we win on the field though. Even a mountain of good fortune and scores early, their physical superiority will be punishing our guys in the fourth quarter.

I just imagine all the hokies rushing the field because we beat the spead. Maybe they should spot us points like Maroon does to the Orange at the spring game.

I think that a lot of people will be surprised by the Bama outcome. Our defense is going to keep us in every game this year.

I don't know how any VT fan would be surprised if the defense kept us in the game. That's pretty much been VT's MO in big games for years, and I do think VT would cover 22

I fully expect us to only have about 6 points attributed to our offense, though. And I really hope I eat these words.

I doubt we'll be able to run the ball on Bama, so LT better get his accuracy problem resolved in a hurry.

that would be a pleasant surprise IMO.. i just want the offense to be good enough to set the defense up in scoring position.. and if possible, try to keep bama from starting in the red zone
