I think LT played really good and have no real problems with the 2 interceptions right now. We had a lead and they opened the playbook up for him a little. Davis fell down on the one (not sure that it would have mattered) and cant really remember the other one but letting LT air it out some will let him learn what he is able to do right now so he doesn't make these mistakes in conference play. The O-line play was concerning. It didn't seem like we were getting a good push up front. We will need to do a MUCH better job on the zone read plays before Clemson comes into town or they will eat us up.

All in all, this was a mediocre, lackluster performance, but there are some positives. Logan Thomas got some much needed experience throwing the ball. While results varied, every live throw is important to get him ready for the ACC season. Hosley continues to make plays on the ball. Danny Coale finally got going. Most importantly, Tech got another win.

One more OOC game to prepare for ACC play. The atmosphere should not be as adverse as the ECU crowd, so it should be a good opportunity for Thomas to get into a groove on the road, building some confidence. Hopefully, we can get in and out with a win.

A lot of promise coming from this offense. I'm optimistic abt our chances as long as we understand out players and adjust to their strengths.

LT is a Tom Brady type, excellent and poised on short routs, lacks imagination and vision on the deep ball. This may develop long term, but for now we don't need it. We need to play to our strengths and the development will come. Tyrod needed the deep ball because of his height, LT is capable of going 10/10 on short routs if they are well designed so no need to panic. Receiving corp is full of playmakers, keep the routs short and the WRs can create YAC.

DW is NOT an every down back. Yes its true. He is more like Reggie Bush but stronger. We need to use more JO in the 1st half with DW flanked on RB screens. Like USC used Lindale White / Reggie Bush, having DW***8217;s full speed and strength available in the 2nd half is why we were able to successfully have an 11 run drive against ECU
