Yes, that call extended a drive that ended in a punt... doesn't change the fact that you were outscored 28-0 in the second half. From the video replays shown, it doesn't appear the trajectory of the ball changed; the only indication was it's flight pattern. I have no idea if the replay officials have the luxury of going frame-by-frame (would be shocked if they didn't), but that shot looks like a still, not a video frame.

Regardless it was blocked and I think that's the only point he was trying to illustrate. We all know we came out and played soft like the Clemson teams we faced in 2006-2008.

Touche; we had all the skill players but no one in the trenches back then. In fact, we weren't who I thought we might have been this year and showed some backbone in the trenches!

Dude, it's all good. Haven't you heard? As soon as Houston lost, Swofford got a call saying VT would be in the Sugar Bowl if they lost. The message was then sent down to treat Clemson like UNC basketball for this game. No worries. You guys win the ACC, we go to the Sugar.

The refs were bad but they didnt cost us the game. They might have cost us the embarrassment though.

Yeah, obviously I was joking but I have to admit this past weekend was one of the weirdest for me that I can remember. Getting the Sugar bid Sunday was kind of like getting a painkiller. I went from feeling like I just got my head bashed in on Saturday to feeling good and not remembering what I was PO'd and in pain about the next day.

10-4; the refs were pretty bad in that game though... I was really surprised watching the video replays on TV that it wasn't definitive; that punt was one helluva duck once it started coming down.
