As a receiver and in terms of ball skills I totally agree. Then everyone says MD is such an athlete. You look at DJ Coles' size and speed and he seems like just as much the 'physical freak' as everyone touts MD being

He's basically had 7 in the last 3 games. I do have confidence that he will get it fixed because he is a hard worker, but it just seems like there hasn't been any progress towards that regard all year. As much as I hate that former Giants, UVA and Cave Spring HS RB, he finally figured it out the last few years of his career and had Hall of Fame numbers.

We're pretty darn lucky to come out of there with a win. I thought we played pretty uninspired and there were also quite a few mistakes. Had Bernard not been injured, I think it's quite reasonable that we would have lost. You'll take the win, but I'm tired of seeing that effort out of the program. You guys know what I'm talking about. There are games every year that for some reason, the team doesn't seem to have the spark it needs. It's what's keep us at the "very good" level instead of jumping to an elite status. They better be fired up next week.


BTW, how the hell does Ron Cherry still have a job? Every game I see him in, he and his crew make some terrible calls. Tonight, we just happened to benefit from them
