FSU is a solid football team.

Just think how much more effective that QB would be with contact lenses in!

I mean I still think FSU is the 2nd best team, but right now Bam is a clear #1.

I have one case for Urban (even though it doesn't matter)

You give Urban a month against a guy he played against for years and he has a chance.

And as far as Oregon---I think Bama and FSU handles em.

Miami is a mediocre team no doubt, but Clemson is a better team and they spanked them on the road. This win does nothing for me, but the Clemson win is quality.

But that win does a lot for them, which is how it is. A #7 team that is really barely top 25 and their SOS jumps

Canes drop where? # 20ish id guess. They deserve about 32 after that impressive display of sub pop warner level of tackling. D'onofrio best be fucking gone after this season or golden can take hiss tiny balls and go with him.

Realistically I'd say about 15 or so. They did just lose to one of the best teams in the country. Would not be surprised if they only dropped to 13.

Has any #1 team in the country been this underrated before? Bama, coming off 2 national titles, running through their schedule, and they are quietly not getting any publicity. Bama IMO is still the best team.

Alabama just had 6 games vs mostly terrible opponents that even Alabama fans didn't want to watch until the end. Hard for networks to really rep those very hard.

Stanford looms.

Gameday was trashing their qb this morning. If they can tackle and control the ball, maybe, but it has to be the full game, not just most.

All props to the Noles.

I kind of don't get this. Miami looked like they had a great recipe early when they were running the ball and beating up the 'noles up front. That seemed like a decent plan until they missed the FG and then suddenly decided they needed to try to throw the ball more and run outside instead of pounding them inside where it looked like they had success.

Yeah, noticed that too. They were having success with the running game, so of course they abandoned it. :noidea:

Blanking Ole Miss is a good performance. Everybody assumed since they gave up 42 to A&M they had their mind made up they aren't good on defense. They are giving up like 5 ppg in all their other games. Also A&M is a top 10ish team, and won on the road.

It seemed as if between the tackles they did some real damage, then they went outside and did more passing, didn't make sense to me. Pound it inside, keep FSU O on the sidelines and the D on the field to wear them out. FSU has some really good skill players that will hurt you bad, but they can't when they don't have the ball.

Back to the OT for me...'bama is the shizz...after that, I'm guessing there will be only OSU and one other contender without a loss. (that means No Ill and Fresno don't count) Who loses and where, great question....

They had 48 yds rushing in the 1st quarter and then FSU adjusted to it. After that in the 2nd and 3rd quarter they gained 59 yds rushing. These are not taking into rushes for loss or sacks. The adjustment by Jeremy Pruitt was the difference.

Why? With the shit you've talked about Stanford all year, if we listen to you, why would anyone be impressed with Oregon beating such a shitty team?
