The Eagles made one stop defensive stop all night, be a realist.

Yes held the Pats to 12 points in the 1st half. 3 in the 1st quarter.

1 stop = realist LOL

The Falcons up 28-3 say hello. Brady threw for 466 last year.

You ever heard of the phrase "You can't stop great players, you only can hope to contain them" ??

How long did the Pats have a lead in the Super bowl?

Brady has had good Super Bowls, not record breaking Super Bowls until he played Philly's defense. Hell the other Eagles defense he played in the Super Bowl allowed less than half his passing yards from Sundays Super Bowl. Brady has played in eight Super Bowls and only half has he thrown for more than 300 yards, only three times did he have more then 2 td passes. And of course both happened Sunday.

Philly defense Sunday allowed over 600 total yards, forced no punts, allowed the Patriots 8.5 yards per play. Patriots’ possessions (5 out of 11) that didn’t end in points, although two of those were because of half endings and another because of a missed 26-yard field goal. There was almost nothing in the way of real defensive stops, all night long.

Bottom line, they might have some talent but Brady is still carving them up as we speak. They didn't step up.

"They didn't step up."

They had one defensive stop all night, they were the only defense that just had one stop against Brady in the Super Bowl. Not good.

So trying to take credit for the Patriots defense being almost as bad, but we already knew that. People didn't expect that from the Philly D.

After 18 games of logging pressure stats, this was without a doubt the fewest amount of players that contributed a pressure for the Patriots in a game this season.

Pats D wasn't great either obviously because Foles put up almost 400 yards. But the credit goes to the Eagles game plan. They wore the Pats D down with 3 different RBs -- 2 of which are beasts to bring down, controlled the clock pretty well, and the D didn't let the Pats run away with the game.

But no defense can stop Brady. We've seen it over and over. Just the fact that the Pats barely had a lead the entire game is dam good accomplishment. At the end of the day, the Eagles made plays where they had to obviously because they controlled the game. Sure they gave up X yards, but it's the Super Bowl.. Great players are going to be great.

1 stop all night yet the Pats had 3 points in the 1st quarter and 12 in the 1st half. Brady had ZERO TD's in the first half.

I think Philly has a good D, but I just don't think they played as good as expected and have the capability to. Even the Eagles defenders would admit that.

I guess all you can say is "it happens". Rams have good defense, yet at times they look horrible giving up big play after big play? Seems like the Rams can give up 300 yards yet most of those yards come on a couple of plays?? Over the years Brady has made a lot of good defenses look average!!

I don't know why you would take corner with the first pick, I would be surprised if the Rams took a corner at all.

We will be taking a edge rusher, DT, or a LB with our first pick unless Phillips thinks we need a few more good men in the secondary!!

1. BPA and great insurance if Talib and Peterson fail or get hurt
2. if we can't sign Peterson we got a kid to pick up the slack

WE could end up with one of he top four corners as people like Barkley are falling due to what Cleveland has done in FA.

Have to agree with you here. Edge or ILB is most likely the pick unless they take the OT out of UCLA. No ILB or MLB yet makes me think they have a guy in mind or 2.
