I can see that area for both guys. I picked Freeman there because I didn't think it could hurt to have a solid backup in case something happened to Gurley.

I would think an LB would not only be picked but a priority pick, either first or second pick.

Agreed, but FA will play a part as well. Could need replacements for both Barwin (OLB/Edge) and Barron (ILB).

I agree that LBer could be a need in the draft.

However, like Shop said, I think that position gets addressed in FA. Think about it. Will it be cheaper to replace LB or CB in FA? Considering TJ is expected to get somewhere between 12-15M and you could sign 2 LBers for that same amount of money, I would expect that position to be addressed in FA and DB to be the biggest priority come draft day.

i like the Roquan kid at LB but seriously do we need another 230 lb in a 3-4 defense that will struggle shedding blocks?? Who is the best LB that is athletic at around 250+?

Johnson is good but eh.... not in my top 5. We could use a CB in the draft with his same size. If the FO can bring back Hill, and Nickel roby, we are somewhat okay and could address that position in FA as well. I would like to see us keep Quinn, ink Donald long term, Joyner.

Roby gets exposed a bit on the outside, needs to be a nickel corner. Hill did OK, but if Tru is gone, the Rams need to add at least 2 CBs (with Webster potentially missing serious time with his achilles injury). Peterson is too shaky to rely on often, even as depth.

Could actually need a replacement for Quinn as well if he doesn't renegotiate. 3 out of 4 starting LBs potentially gone?

One trade-down from the late 6th to get an extra pick. Went DB and OLB heavy, with an OG that has been projected to play C, a developmental OT (ended up at West Georgia after being dismissed from Texas), and a very productive undersized receiver (turd replacement?).

Your score is: 20017 (GRADE: B+)

Your Picks:
Round 1 Pick 23: Denzel Ward, CB, Ohio State (A+)
Round 3 Pick 23: Donte Jackson, CB, LSU (A)
Round 4 Pick 23: Jeff Holland, OLB, Auburn (A+)
Round 5 Pick 23: Isaiah Wynn, OG, Georgia (A+)
Round 6 Pick 20: JaVon Rolland-Jones, OLB, Arkansas State (A+)
Round 6 Pick 23: Trey Marshall, SS, Florida State (A+)
Round 7 Pick 7 (DEN): Richie James, WR, Middle Tennessee (A+)
Round 7 Pick 8 (SEA): Desmond Harrison, OT, West Georgia (B-)

Your Future Picks:
2019 Round 1 Pick
2020 Round 1 Pick

My best one yet. Before you knock not going CB first, just know all the top CB's have been gone by the Rams pick, so I traded down twice. Still no value at CB early 2nd and since this draft is deep at that position, I addressed it twice later on

Your score is: 21072 (GRADE: A-)

Your Picks:
Round 2 Pick 10 (MIA): Ronnie Harrison, SS, Alabama (A)
Round 3 Pick 2 (NYG): Jerome Baker, OLB, Ohio State (A)
Round 3 Pick 9 (MIA): Mason Cole, C/OT, Michigan (A)
Round 3 Pick 23: Donte Jackson, CB, LSU (A+)
Round 4 Pick 23: Deontay Burnett, WR, Southern California (A+)
Round 5 Pick 23: Toby Weathersby, OT, LSU (A+)
Round 6 Pick 20: Jordan Thomas, CB, Oklahoma (A+)
Round 6 Pick 21: JaVon Rolland-Jones, OLB, Arkansas State (A+)
Round 6 Pick 23: Tyrone Crowder, OG, Clemson (A+)

The pundits are forecasting the Rams to select the big corner out of Auburn even with the top corners gone by the time we pick, ALR.

I can see that happening Retro. I think it's about 95% TJ will be gone. I think they will get NRC signed, but he is a solid nickel guy, not an outside CB. Hill played well at times and there are a few other guys on the depth chart, so I guess it really depends on how they feel about those guys as to whether CB is a top priority without TJ.

They need to cut some guys to free up more cap space which will make those positions a need as well if they are not filled by draft time.

And, as I stated, CB is deep in this draft, so filling say LB or DE or even OL could be addressed first and CB later.

And knowing Snead, I fully expect a trade down to happen to try and recoup a 2nd rounder.
