Lots of work to be done this off-season.

Would like to say this season stings but not really, kinda expected it with all the mediocre off-season signings they did.

Plenty of disappointments to point to but imo, the biggest was Ty France. How the hell do you managed to pull a .250/12/58/.702 stats line in 658 plate appearances?

Yea we all know how I feel about The Pillsbury Doughboy

He absolutely has to go this off season. Any other 1st baseman in the league and we are in the playoffs right now today!
His anemic numbers likely accounted for us NOT winning an additional 3-5 games thru the season.

M’s will never sniff a World Series if they don’t increase their payroll … For the revenue they generate they should have a top 5 payroll not 18th …. They always go cheap and it’s never worked out … I mean the draft is important, brining up young players in your system is important, but sometimes you need to spend to get over the top …

Of course talent is the most important, but you gotta pay to get that talent unless you nail the draft and build that talent from within… BUT either way at some point you gotta pay $ or that talent walks … M’s going cheap has never worked out…

I do want to say one thing in all sincerity, the dozen or so true fans on this site are the absolute best and I am just so appreciative that you let me BS with you all day after day, month after month, and year after year. It is a true pleasure even when I get out of hand. I have mellowed lately mainly because I don't have the same energy to get worked up for these guys. Dipoto and Stanton have actually burned me out on expectations. That took 46 year of watching this stuff for them to do it. I congratulate them. Not an easy task that they accomplished.

But back to you guys, thanks for another year of enjoyment. Not the team, but your banter. I live for it and it is a great stress reliever from my daily life. Not sure how much of the offseason I will follow because we all know it is just one disappointment after another so why put ourselves through it? I applaud any of you that do. I will still be around reading and reacting, but just not on an hourly basis...lol.
