I imagine espn lost a lot of traffic when they shut down their boards. They want the clicks and eyeballs that the boards bring without the hassle of running them. I'm not big into CFB which is supposedly their only foothold so far. Their boards were crap.... design, format and moderation, but they were busy and there were a lot of good members and discussions. We'll see how it goes.

It's truly baffling.

ESPN reports $700M in annual online revenue. That's MILLION. With an M.

How they could possibly fuck that up so bad is beyond belief.

There I was, getting ready to post another McKayla Maroney pic and out of the corner of my eye I see a post about ESPenisN taking over the hoop. At first I didn't take it serious but I saw their banner and I started to freak out a little inside, I no longer could finish my grilled cheese sandwich and have started to get a twitch in my left arm. I'm relieved this was only a hoax and now I can move on with my day.
