I resent the insinuation that I sold out on SportsHoopla. They money had nothing to do with it. I sincerely felt like this was for the good of SportsHoopla.

Why can't you guys just accept that?

A lot of the posters here had a lot of bad experiences with espn.

Not saying they're being fair in labeling you a sellout but that's probably why they're reacting this way.

I believe that to be true and really like your site. I also doubt that money had any affect on your decision, nor do I know the basis of your agreement, but I also know that espn isn't getting involved because they don't have anything better to do with there time. I for one will hang around and support your decision (not that I'm a real big contributor anyhow), but the minute I feel like it's even getting close to some espn bullshit in here I will wonder to the next stop in fantasy land.

I imagine espn lost a lot of traffic when they shut down their boards. They want the clicks and eyeballs that the boards bring without the hassle of running them. I'm not big into CFB which is supposedly their only foothold so far. Their boards were crap.... design, format and moderation, but they were busy and there were a lot of good members and discussions. We'll see how it goes.
