Seeing people get upset about this is actually kind of hilarious. They have already stated that Robert Lee, the announcer himself called his boss and asked if he thought it would be a problem with his name and being at Virginia? Boss said probably not a big deal, but we can look and see if anyone will swap places with you, since they have so many crews. They found another frew to do a voluntary swap.

Nobody was pulled from a game. He's not being punished. He's not fired. ESPN itself didnt even care, the guy just wanted to announce a game and not have his name become some sort of side story.

The truth: ESPN is losing SUBSCRIPTIONS because as people cut the cord, those who never watched sports/ESPN to begin with, no longer get ESPN.

And for some reason, people cheer it without realizing what they are actually cheering is...having to pay more to watch sports. It's not a good thing.
