Sadly that win locked up the #1 seed for Dallas. I hope they don't win a ring or I might puke.

They are not going to make it past the divisional round. They are not as good as their record IMO.

this after a 3-0 start. Did anyone really think this was a playoff team? no. At same time if they have almost any other coach, they probably get to 8 wins this season, with a clearer path to playoffs in 2017

now at 5-11, or 6-10. Im just not sure. I still feel like they are 1 elite WR and 1 elite CB away, with maybe another legit LB. But with this fucking coach and playcalling who knows

Anyway, I just wanted a win.
Maybe we beat the Cowboys, who may rest many starters.
7-9 would be a decent record at this point. In the beginning of the season, we'd settle for that.
That would also keep Cleveland from getting a top ten pick.

In the beginning of the season I did settle for 7-9. In fact when they traded Bradford and brought up Wentz so close to the start of the year I remember setting my expectations at an upside of 7-9. That if we could be around .500 this year that could be a great first year of this variation of the Eagles.

The 3-0 start and the huge win over the Steelers threatened that realistic view for me as well. But, it helped to have those proper expectations when the shit hit the fan quickly. Expectations is such an important thing for a fan to have in their toolkit.
