Gronk would be the best TE in the league no matter who was at QB. I could be the QB and get him double digit TD's every season.

Obviously having Brady does help some. But it is only a small help.

The biggest help is that the NFL is still littered with idiots as coaches and they still insist on single covering that guy at times in the red zone with a LB. It is just mind-boggling watching that play out.

Cutler for sure. People give him crap but he has put up some good numbers with WRs and TEs. Now Sanchez and Smith... that is probably a stretch. But we are talking bottom of the NFL there.

Don't forget the coaches in this mix. There are coaches who are determined not to let Gronk beat them. Which is why Belichick and Daniels work hard to create mismatches for Gronk.

Isn't he a mismatch for any team though? But you are right those two do make plays that confuse the hell out of the defenses.

He does get a bad rep but he also has earned it.

He just makes really bad decisions and turns the ball over too much but he can find his guys and give them a chance to make plays as good as some of the top guys. He'll give a game away on one of those chances as well though. Bears were actually a top 5 scoring offense just 2 seasons ago. Man has that turned around.

Gronk makes plays that Brady has no impact on after the catch, he's a stud. Brady makes him better no doubt, but Gronk makes Brady better as well.
