Is anyone else already sick of this guy? There is something about him that rubs me the wrong way. I'll give him credit for being a good coach but it all comes off as a gimmick to me.

It'll be interesting to see what happens with him and the "star level" kids that he'll be able to recruit.

Can he "tone it down" so that those kids can get their shine...or will it be "all eyes on Prime".

He has put together a good staff, so the coaching should be there.

If he's able to tone it down, he should be good.

If he can't, he'll start losing some of those kids to programs where they can star.

I don't see more than 5, maybe 6 wins this season.

Week 1 was nice but TCU isn't close to the team they were last season and shouldn't have been ranked....

He was smart to surround himself with good assistant coaches.

I think they can be good but not that good. Let's see what happens after he place the likes of Oregon and USC.

I dont think they have the defense to hang with Bo Nix or Caleb Williams but the rest of their games are winnable imo

He's entertaining, at least. His antics aren't bothering me nearly as much as they seem to be bothering other people.

Been a while since we've had a CFB supervillain who was this colorful (Saban is boring AF).

Think of Deion as a Woke Barry Switzer

Hell no, it is refreshing. Just like Mike Leach was. Will be interesting to see which big school hires him next or if a NFL team will give him a shot.

The coach ought never to be the biggest story of any sports team

But that is what collegiate sports is suppose to be. Can an average person name a single player on the NC State miracle run or just Coach V.

I must confess to being much more the fan of pro sports. And that coach V seems more remembered for his unfortunate passing and his foundation. And the ads for it played on ESPN.
But yes, much is made of the college coach.
Especially in college basketball.
