Redskins doctors believe FS DeAngelo Hall tore his ACL in Sunday's Week 3 win over the Giants.

Hall, however, stated that his knee "feels good," and he will wait for a Monday MRI to concede the rest of his season. The Redskins are thin at safety and could ill afford to lose Hall, who has successfully transitioned from cornerback.

Good chance his career is over. Hate to say it but the injury looked like a season ender,, and with his age and desire after battling another comeback I would think he is done.

Every time he gets hurt, and it seems to happen every year, I think this is the end for D Hall yet he always returns. He's like the 17 year cicada. But if this really is an ACL tear as was the preliminary report this is probably the end. Time to get a guy who is younger and stays healthy. I know it's a different position but once Kelly was off the board I wanted Karl Joseph as the pick.

Honestly, as good a guy as Hall is, I thought the experiment with him at safety was a dismal failure, and we should see improvement there with Duke. And Blackmon as the nickle guy continues to play well.

Aren't all the safeties on this team pretty much strong safeties?
No. We're long past the Laron Landry era. Hall obviously wasn't. Blackmon isn't. The Skins D doesn't differentiate the safeties, anyway.
