True, even to a non-Pens.

I didn't mind the Boston one, but it just didnt look right for some reason. Maybe the odd shape of the baseball diamond and the Green Monster.

Chicago/Detroit was a good watch just for the teams involved.

Last year at Heinz in the rain... blecht.. Crosby injury not even included.

I agree it wasn't as good as the others.

On a side note...EMU...I love the "They Live" reference. In my opinion the greatest fight scene ever in a movie due to how cheesy it was. Also if you can get Timmy and Jimmy to re-enact it on South Park you have a good one.

Loved that movie, DDD... a "B" movie with a decent cast and intentional cheese-factor is always fun!

At the time, that fight scene was the longest on-screen brawl in film history, don't know if it's been outdone since or not... but I never saw the South Park version haha it would eat up the entire tv show if they did the whole scene.

Howdy, Blue. Got your f/r, glad to accept. This is a fun site, though I miss bashing trolls like Pisser now and then.

Hey NorthCoast, hello!

I've been up to my armpits getting fantasy football leagues up and running, been peeking in but not posting much.

Another NHLer dies this offseason. Thats three.
Man, the microscope is going to be on the league now. All of the 60 Minutes-type news shows will be snooping for a scandal to break. Sad.

Crosby skated in all the non-contact drills today.

He looked great, he had no symptoms, and he said that is as hard as he's gone at it since the injury.

You get the feeling we may be getting strung along a little Emu? I mean, Shero has to have some idea of Crosby's timetable. Even if he suspected something like 27 games, one third the season, and still has $1.5 mil. in cap space, that gives him the leverage to sign a guy at $3 mil.. The downfall would be the loss of space at the deadline but the upside would be a decent wing while Crosby was out and more depth when he came back. LTI is 15 games and 24 days. My guess is they're expecting him back within three weeks of the start of the season.

I still dont think they know, Sammer.

The problem with the injury is, he may be cleared at any time.
The Penguins have to juggle his status so that if he were suddenly made available, that they can slide him back in to the roster.

A broken bone you can look and say, yea LTIR up to a certain date. This thing, they'd hate to trade a player to bring in a top-6 talent, only then to have Sid cleared and then have no cap room. Or put him on LTIR then get told he's been cleared for contact the next day.

I don't envy Shero for the brain-twist hes got to be going through between the bickering specialists, the oddball disease, and the whole of the Canadian media performing a three-ring circus all around the entire train wreck.

Crosby cleared for contact practices... I'm sure the world knows by now.

Wonder what Jeremy Roenick's opion on the matter is.
