This will be a tough game, I don't like our chances at the shoe late at night.

Does Ohio St have a "revenge" factor that will give them the "jitters" in the first half Saturday?

Ohio St defense has 7 picks thru 5 games.

NU has 3.

I don't know how many Ohio St has dropped but Compton, PJ Smith, and Stafford dropped 3 last game alone.

Big difference between drops and getting the pick tho

We'd be much better though if our DB's didn't have bricks for hands and Stafford would quit going for the big hit every time and just turn around and look for the god damned motherfucking football.

Care to share the statistic? Suppose that depends on your definition of "big game".

Opponent ranking? Game time? School? What was on the line?

Frankly, outside of Miller I don't see a team any better (or much better) than Wisky. Not many are giving us much of a chance here, and other than our habitual ineptitude in containing a mobile quarterback, we are improved in most areas over where we were last year. The statistical comparison I saw on Huskermax the other day gives us more of an advantage over OSU than it did for Wisky. I suppose being in the shoe should make somewhat of a difference in their favor though.

I can't predict either a win or loss on this one; I think it will be pretty close either way.

I still like NU in this game tho. I don't know why and I'm trying to talk myself out of it.

All that stands out is it's on the road, the fumbles, and NU's history of being unable to contain mobile QB's. Braxton Miller leads the team in rushing yds by a long shot, nobody else is even close.

That's really it.

NU commits fewer penalties, has a better offense across the board, better pass defense, better special teams (appears Maher has ended the funk)

I understand Ohio St's got a good Rushing Defense, but as I said last week that the Wisconsin game would be telling about that because NU would be playing 3/4 other teams where that was their strong suit. When NU wasn't making stupid mistakes, Wisky's Rushing Defense wasn't a big factor as the game went on. Wisky had a higher ranked Rushing Defense than Ohio St.

Exactly. Well said.

Road game, fumbles, and Miller

That's all I can see.

We are going to be Urban Meyers migrane headache, he will be unable to figure our offense out and after struggling with us for 5 years he will be committed to a sanitarium
