You mean the lineup that featured a guaranteed opening day player in every other position and handed a full-strength Habs team (save Carey, which obviously is a big deal but) their asses?

Maybe. Upper hand doesn't mean he's won his spot yet. Just liking what (admittedly little) I've seen from him thus far and it has seemed like most writers seem to think so too.

There will be some line-juggling throughout the season but don’t waste your brain power trying to figure out why Hyman is skating with two of the best players in the league. It’s Babcock’s way and it isn’t gonna change.

This is a random observation but I just realized that I've never seen it here and was curious if anyone else had the same observation.

I think that Connor Carrick is probably an intelligent guy. I mean don't get me wrong, I don't expect him to cure cancer and solve P vs NP before the season starts, but just based on how he talks and puts ideas together I get the impression there's something up in that head of his.

Not surprised really. When he was put on waivers, my first thought was TOR. His limited stats are decent. As a back up, should be fine.
