College fantasy football 2017

I'm cool with it for next year. I agree that it would screw things up at this point in the season though.

I think if you look hard enough you can find some decent free agents though. Aside from my quarterbacks, one wide receiver and my keeper running back my team is all free agents or trades from players I took as a free agent. I got snakebit on running backs in the draft (two blown knees and a dismissal) so I had to pick up guys based on how the season went. It's a bit of patchwork but I have 3 legit starters for their team and another who is the best back on a solid roster. I got lucky and took a flyer on the kid from West Virginia who is the top wide receiver in fantasy right now. DST and kicker I rotate so any given week it's a new person there.


Something I'd like to try and I don't know if there is interest but it seems like fun. Full draft where all P5 and G5 teams are available. You draft 25-30 rounds and eliminate FA pickups. Your team is your team. There is enough depth to overcome injuries and bye weeks. It's true to the college experience.

Idk part of fantasy football is being a good GM: mid-season FA pickups, making good trades and a little bit of luck lol, etc.

I do like adding the G5 teams though.

That's interesting. Id be open to exploring it. We'd need everyone in the draft though.

Might be worth setting up another league to try it. It'd be a pretty huge change. After a few years of some trial and error we're finally starting to get something that resembles a consistent year to year league with this.

Had some inside info that we would force the run today so I kept Rudolph on the bench. He scores 4 td' s. Glad for the win but I might have gotten a bit too cute there.

Yep. Rudolph got dinged against Texas and West Virginia is awful against the run so the plan was to run Hill to death today. Good when you have Hill but bad when he gets knocked out for half the game. We wanted to give the squats something to think about but Stoops can't think though.

Yeah, it's pretty bad right now. If you need to try to pick up anything but maybe a QB there isn't much there. I'm on board with adding a G5 conference. Whoever suggested going with whichever one gets a team in the big 6 bowl from year to year, I like that idea.

I'm hesitant to add a conference mid season, but moving forward next season I'm all for it. If you want it added this season, I'll only do it if we can get enough guys to give a yea vote.

yeah but thats based on pro fantasy where you can do that kind of thing. not so much real college

Both of my backup quarterbacks put up 40+. If Tate does what he normally does I did the right thing keeping them on the bench
