The division is already in the bag. Sorry for anyone that think I'm jinxing anything as I don't believe in them.

Guys will get their days off as there's a few left on the schedule and with the expanded rosters there will be time to fit in other guys to give the regulars rest. We have to make sure we secure that best record in the league so we can ensure home field throughout. Cleveland is right behind us.

I was very encouraged by Hamels performance last night , good to see yu and hamels pitching 2 good games back to back

Hamels showed his grit last night for sure. But he was in trouble a lot, pitched from behind - thus the 4 walks - and I didn't think it was anything to feel encouraged about at all. I wasn't necessarily discouraged, just not encouraged.

And I'm sure you know this but he's leading the majors in walks this season, which is not "Hamelist."

In fact, I'm all for skipping Cole next time around and giving him some much needed rest.
