All those west coast teams.

You know, you are making a subtle point.

What about Helton at USC. They can't possibly believe he's doing a good job.
He is loaded with talent and he lets them screw around half the game.

Course, maybe the fan base doesn't care as much anymore.

With all those fires going out there, I'd be concerned.

I don't know if they're a rich enough school to handle Bielema's absurd buyout. Won't they owe him like $15 mil?

Yeah, but they could get around that a bit...from a cash standpoint.
There is a 70% mark up in food in restaurants.

So if they gave him 10 million dollars in coupons for McDonalds, they would only
be out 3 million in actual money spent and Bielema would be happy. (For a couple
of years, anyway)

I don't believe it has been mentioned on the board, but Georgia Southern
fired their coach after the rout at UMASS

Some reports say it's only $6 million. We're the 16th most profitable athletic department in the country but it might hurt our ability to spend as much on a new coach. Would be nice if we could get Jerry Jones and the Waltons to pitch in lol

I don't think that.

He got his start at New Hampshire.

He just needs his little scatbacks and he needs players that will be in better physical condition
than the opponents. That's why he flopped in the NFL...those people weren't going to condition
as hard as he needed them to.

That's his secret. He's gonna spread you all over the field...send those scatbacks at you constantly
and run your DL ragged.

As long as he pays attention to defense...he'd be okay wherever he went.

he doesn't recruit well enough for that.

His issues are well known. If his staff doesn't bring in the talent he can't win. His system doesn't work against programs that run traditional smash mouth football.

That's the downfall of spread based teams.......you beat them by destroying them on the LOS. SEC and B1G teams would have a field day against him.

This is also why he wants to coach at the pro level, he doesn't have to recruit. That failed because he relied on his system instead of TALENT which is what wins at that level.

ANY system is only as good as the talent in it.
