It wouldn't be Christmas without a massive fail from the Lakers.

Unless they sign Durant, we won't see them on Christmas Day with Kobe retiring for quite a while

The Cavaliers struggled from long range, making just 5 of 30 3-pointers. Smith was 4 for 8, while the rest of the team hit just one in 22 attempts. Love and Irving combined to miss all 11 attempts.

''It's one of those nights,'' Love said. ''I don't know if you'll ever see Kyrie and myself go 0 for 11 from 3 again.''

Doesn't Love know that he fades under the bright lights?

He'll hit 7 3's in a blowout win vs the Lakers

Watched every game today. My biggest take away:

The Son on The Hoopers commercial looks an awful lot like the Neighbor that works at State Farm. Methinks Mom has some major explaining to do.

well, seems your words were prophetic. he played a good game, but it wasn't enough to get 'em over the top...

k, that was bad. thought you were talking about the Cavs/Dubs game...

next time I just might try actually READING the post instaed of bleeping through it. it was Christmas yesterday. that's my excuse and i'm sticking with it...:L

James is a dick.
Bitches about not being home/ with family for XMas, but whenever he can be at home with his family he's hanging in Miami or anywhere else but 'home'.

Fuck him.

Geez. I guess I'm a dick too, cause if my kids had to spend 7 out of 8 Christmas mornings in a hotel room... cuz my employer kept picking me to be out of town... despite needing only 15% of employees each year... I'd be 'bitching' too.

Then:

1. Quit losing in the Finals because you know there will be a rematch on winners HC Christmas Day.
2. I remember year 1 Heat Big 3 when they showed his family at the hotel. His suite was bigger then prob most people's homes. They survived the trauma of it just fine.
3. My point was he knew since June this was coming, and he was home with his family earlier this week. I know it's not actually Christmas Eve/Day, but you can pretend plus like I said, when has unlimited free time in the summer he seems to be everywhere but home with his family in Akron.
4. He could have said he was tired like he did vs Heat and flown out to Portland last night. He could have spent a couple hours in his home gym practicing FT's.:pound:

Maybe lebron didn't cry to Stern years ago about the finals team playing at home on Christmas day. Yesterday's game is likely in Cleveland instead of Golden State.

At the end of the day he know what he was getting when he entered the league. Its like an NFL player crying about not playing at home on Thanksgiving. When you entered the league you know that there's a great chance you may play on the road on Christmas if you're not the lakers

Yeah, I understand that no one is going to have any sympathy for him. He's got a pretty good gig. And like turnup points out... I'm sure a lot of parents would love to be able to take their kids to an awesome hotel suite in CA for Christmas vacation.

I just think that if I'm being honest with myself... I would feel the exact same way. It's not just playing on Christmas... it's 7 times on the road on Christmas the last 8 years. No one else has really had it to that degree.

As far as I know he's not actively complaining about it, just being honest with reporters who specifically ask how he feels about it.

5. There are hell of a lot of people out there who had to work Christmas Day and got paid a hell of a lot less than Lebron did.
