I can drink milk, and so can my kids, but I still buy almond milk about half the time. I don't like to cook with it at all, but the Vanilla almond milk is absolutely delicious and my kids say the double chocolate or whatever is better than regular chocolate milk too.

And honestly I don't even like almonds. But I do love cashews, buy them all the time. Guess I'll try this stuff out sooner or later.

i've never tried cashew milk.

haven't had cow milk in about 15 years, and have been good with soy.

what's the protein content in cashew milk compared to soy? the lack of protein is why i don't do almond milk. and does anybody know a brand that's unsweetened? they put about 7 grams of sugar per serving in most silk varieties.

that answers my question about that

i'll check the protein content when i go to the store again...if they even have it here.

Here is the nutritional info. 25 cal 15 fat cal 0 sugar < 1 protein

Haven't seen cashew before, drink almond all the time. I'd avoid soy, i avoid anything soy. It's cheap shit that isn't even really fit to give livestock. But it's highly subsidized and promoted. It also mimics estrogen in the body, so I wouldn't be drinking it often at all.

The lack of protein doesn't bother me at all. There's hardly an American alive that doesn't get more protein than their body needs, couch potato to athlete, protein is plentiful in the most American diets, it's good fats that are lacking.

Soy is a huge percentage of protein animal feed. Chickens, cows, pigs, fish..... and lastly, people. Corn isn't exactly the greatest thing for a cows stomachs either..... Little easier to get ahold of than cotton seed.

Big fan of cashews, might have to try this. Even though I only drink milk after I finish cereal. And I seldom eat cereal. (Cotton Seed flakes are expensive)
