Did Brown ever state he wanted to be the highest paid player, not highest paid WR but highest paid PPAYER?

Yes he is, but no where near as egotistical as OBJ and Browns the better WR.

Pretty comparable statistically (other than Brown being targeted more) and Beckham's 4 years younger. OBJ has more yards per catch, more yards per game, and more TDs per game for his career thus far. Brown got off to a MUCH slower start early in his career, whereas Beckham has been a star since his first game played.

Straight up, if I were given the choice between A Brown or OBJ today I going with Brown.

Would depend on the contract demands (and length) for me. A longer contract with Brown could be dipping into the downside of his career.

I haven't heard otherwise and as far as I know OBJ never changed his HIGHEST paid PLAYER claim.

If the Giants are sticking to their guns asking for 2 1st rounders it means they have little interest in actually trading him.

So it either means they won't make the trade unless someone massively overpays for him or they'll keep that price sky high until closer to the draft or possibly training camp and let other teams whittle it down until they feel they have the best possible offer.

My guess is that the Giants are in the middle with OBJ. They aren't desperate to get rid of him but they won't shed many tears if he's gone either. So I think they have a more realistic asking price in mind and when it really comes time to get serious about a trade they'll pull the trigger if a team hits their more reasonable asking price.
