Kind of a sloppy game but once again the defense kept the #2 scoring offense under control all game. 19 points, with 6 of them not chargeable to the defense. That's solid. The Broncos got a good quality and much needed win here. It looked sloppy but a win is a win and I'll never apologize for how the team wins. Especially since refs refuse to call holding on our opponents. If they just called half of holds...

Player of the game, Roby. Easily his best game as a pro. He's going to be an all star

Our defense overall today played a great game, but the offense is incredibly stunted at times.

Siemian could've easily had 4 picks today. Easily. One of them should've gone back to the house putting us down 14-10. I don't mean to be a party pooper, but it is what it is. I'm just not sold on this kid yet, and if anything he seems to be getting more ballsy and erratic with his throws.

Norwood had a bad game for sure. The pick 6 was right on his hands. Plus just before that he really misplayed the punt.

Hoping we draft a return specialist this year.

Yea, I hear ya. If not for SD db's not being able to catch, this might've turned out bad. I'm not sure if it's time to pull the plug on him yet, but it's getting close.

It frustrates me because I was hoping we would get Dak. Granted, he is playing behind the best O line in the NFL. He looks good though

The team needs to have a spotter to keep players off Wade this is not the first time he has been hit he is darn old for this ...

That can be done is worth ever dime .

He's a smart player and I think he runs this offense well, so I'm sure we stick with him and we should because we're winning. He just made a bunch of questionable throws today and could've had a handful of picks. Just kind of a sloppy all around game by the offense in terms of ball control.

Didn't get game but by seeing highlights, box score and recap......the D played very well except for a few mental breakdowns, the offense looked pretty pedestrian but we could have scored 40 pts and also gave up more points than SD got. Huge win though vs very dangerous team so thankful for that. Need to give Raiders the business this Sunday and KC gets bumped as well. :) Just remember many of ya didn't think Denver would be 6-2 at this stage so.....be happy. This division looking like dog fight till the end.

Look, we knew we'd get some serious struggles on offense with Siemian. Production from him is superior to what we had from the QB position last year. The offense is significantly better than last year. Easily improved enough to make up for the declines on defense, specifically the run defense. It balances out. After 8 games last year we were 7-1. This year with a 7th round, 2nd year player and a rookie we're 6-2. This was a team that was supposed to struggle to reach .500. So while today's game looked sloppy, big picture I'm pleased with this team.

Dak does look good but put him with the Broncos running game and o line he would be struggling. Plus who knows what he would do in Kubiak's offense. Easy to hand off to Elliot and have all day to throw on play action. Well see where Dak is at in 3 years. Everyone is quick to get on NFL QB's bandwagon right away. RG3 a perfect example. Peace.

Who said this team would struggle to get to .500? Sources please because I haven't heard shit about that but I don't watch ESPN and other shows that spew out garbage. Vegas odds had them in the top 10 to win it all. Just saying. Peace.

SS, you cannot blame Norwood on the pick 6 .. Siemian lead him too far and high - it wasn't a great throw - catchable ?? yes he could have caught it, but Simian was a pick 6 waiting to happen all day ..

He was actually throwing into coverage all day ... and on that particular play, he locked in on Norwood, and had he looked him off, he had DT wide open down the middle ..

3rd and 10, and another 4 yard route he locks in on

Dixon gets the Balls Of Steel award for the day ...

And I love how McManus ( and obviously DeCamillis ) drops the kickoffs down near the one yard line .. It's a great strategy in certain situations

ESPN and a lot of the Fansided and SB Nation writers, as well as a couple I found from a myriad of sites, some reputable others not so much. Also, of 20 NFL.com analysts, 12 picked the Chiefs to win the AFC West, 6 picked the Raiders and 2 picked the Broncos. Of the 18 that did not pick the Broncos about 5 of them (don't remember exactly how many) picked them to earn a wildcard spot. That group didn't pick records, but the implication there is clear: the majority of them did not believe the Broncos were a playoff team. I did see a few other writers give the Broncos a prediction of 9-7. I read a lot of predictions before the season begins. I think I posted some of them to a thread here, maybe I'll try to find it.

I can blame him if I want. :). He absolutely should have caught that ball. But I'm not defending the three passes that brickhands Chargers defenders should have intercepted that Siemian threw and got away with.

Are you going to defend Norwood punt returning today? It wasn't good. I like the kid. We just have to get better production than he's given us this year.

I agree ... and I agree because I think that he's been sub par for his abilities -
