Mathis got hurt n couldn't play. And if anyone says they knew Forrest was gonna play like he did last year. I'd call them n their momma some fuckin liars. Lets give the kids a chance to see if they can contribute. Right now the way to spell bust is Saahdiq Charles.

Yes. I didn’t mind the Mathis pick. He could’ve been Payne’s replacement. However, Payne earned the right for a big contract and RR staying true to his word rewarded him. Now Payne needs to keep it up

Mathis in round 4,, good pick , Mathis in round 2 , over-drafted, and I said it at the time

Picks from rounds 3-7 are staters in the league. I think there is a plan for every pick we make.

Just an opinion. Like Rowdy said some fans didn't mind it b/c they thought it would have been a replacement.


Plus, what if Porter is drafted at #16. Would he be the replacement for Fuller?

I think they outsmarted themselves.
I think they decided to let Payne walk and get the draft compensation.
I think Mathis was a reach but maybe the defensive coaches can figure out how best maximize his production when he's on the field. I think you've gotta find a way to keep fuller. I think Branch is being overlooked for no reason

I read somewhere that the coaching staff likes him. Whatever that means I don't know. He was supposed to have some game. I remember when they first drafted him. There was a general consensus that the Skins drafting him was a crafty move. We'll see this year I hope.

That's cool. Some, or at least one, talking head thinks McCain was the Skins biggest loss this year. McCain was solid and he logged a lotta PT. I wouldn't be mad if Butler were able to adequately replace him.

Washington drafted 4th rounders with three or more years ,.. S. Charles, Wes Martin, Apke, Perine, J. Crowder, B. Breeland, Cousins
5th rounders with three or more years ... Ismael, Hudson, Piersbacher, Holcomb, Settle, Ioaniddis, Forrest going into year t three and Howell into year 2 ... I sure hope he isn't out in year 3

Half a game is not enough time to know if Martin was overdrafted in the 2nd round. As I remember a lot of people were down on the Dodson and BRob picks.

IMO Fuller is a locker room presence. He came back to DC after winning in KC and wasn't perfect but made plays. I like Branch, we seem to like Alabama players in general. He's versatile, sound and a solid tackler, he also gets solid bio descriptions

Branch does fit into the Buffalo nickel role. #16 might be too high but I could see how can fit into our defense. We play 4-2-5 alot and It would look like Fuller, Bsj, Curl, Forrestt, and Branch.

How do you figure that? If Branch is drafted, he would take over McCains role. McCain was on the field alot last year. 4-2-5 was played last year. Reports are saying he is a slot CB/S hybrid type player.
