Fixed.

The Patriots had the easiest run to the Super Bowl you will ever see.
Yes their HOF QB missed the first 4 games. Their # 1 game changer in Gronk missed how many games to include the SB? Stop you are embarrassing yourself.

Im used to it, this is an every year occurrence

Shockingly, and I mean SHOCKINGLY, the AFC East just may be worse this season than any other in the Brady era, which should sicken every non NE fan
But at least Giant fans can continue to hope Eli continues on his path to greatness. Leading the NFL in INTs. That way they can get back to the SB and beat TB12. They apparently the only freak of nature that can. So you got that going for you.

Really?

You played Houston because Oakland's QB got injured and you played Pittsburgh without their best player. New England was the best team and did it without one of their best players but was there ever a softer schedule to a super bowl? I can't remember a single one.

There's no way the division will be worse than in 2007. The Bills, Jets, and Dolphins went 6-24 in games played outside the division that year.

there have been 2 divisions in the NFL that have been worse than the AFC east in terms of W/L and competitiveness over the last 3-5 years.

A few of us did the math, laid it out, etc...and still...wont accept it.

Oh in the last 3 years (you know, when the Pats won the Super Bowl twice), the 2-4 place teams in the AFC East have gone 44-46 in games played outside the division. That's 3rd best behind the NFC North (45-45) and AFC West (49-41). Pats have also played 29 games against teams with a winning record in that time frame (2nd most in the NFL) and have won 22 of them (most in the NFL). And they've played 22 playoff teams (8th most in the NFL) and won 18 of them (most in the NFL).

Well you could say "Falcons went 7-0 in their last 7 games against NFC opponents". Of course that ignores that 5 of the 7 were at home and 5 of the 7 were against teams below .500.
When you win those games by an average of 22 points and win your playoff games by 20 ppg I think it's pretty clear it doesnt matter where they were played. There's nothing that happened this off-season that would make anyone think Atlanta will be worse this year. They added a Pro Bowl caliber DL, a Pro Bowl CB and another pass rusher to the team that crushed everyone they played in the NFC playoffs. The voffense lost no one of any real value.

Not a chance. But I will wager you on it since you like to debate. I'll even go all the way up to 9-7 for you. You get 9 wins or less, I'll take 10+. You naje the prize

Have to play the hand you are dealt.

Other teams have been fortunate in the way things have fallen and still fucked it up.

We aren't talking about the Super Bowl. We are talking about the NFC.

Perfect. Hopefully this goes as well as your guarantee that the Falcons would score 30+
I didn't guarantee that. I said they'd score 30+ if they played average. 24-28 if they played poorly. Kind of missed on both accounts though because they played fine, coaching let them down. But that's a different debate that we've had at length so no need to rehash. We both know you guys got lucky. You won't admit it which is fine. Hopefully you'll make it back this year so we can have a rematch

Pats dominated a larger percentage of the game than the Falcons dominated. And that's quite a back track.
