Mmm, I went Oakland/GB.

Both had great seasons last year and if Carr stayed healthy they might've been in the SBOWL. Both teams also had very good drafts and shored up needs in the secondary/defense.

With the sole purpose of being a contrarian, I went Other on both.

Given the "Other" pool of teams, I'll go Buccaneers and Broncos.

Denver vs. Dallas

But I ain't puttin' money on that. Hard to make the SB with crap quarterbacks. But go Broncos, anyway.

Oakland had a good draft? I see the logic for picking Oakland but not because of their draft

My initial guess is New England and Green Bay but after looking at the schedules (ish), I'm leaning towards New England and Seattle or maybe New England and Carolina.

Well, Houston would have beaten the Pats if not for a QB that makes Jemarcus Russell look like a HOFer

Chiefs have a roster that is SB worthy, but the QB has a very low ceiling come playoff time

Raiders are good, but Carr has not been great in big games, and Im still not a believer in that defense in a big spot

If Watson or Mahomes shock, those teams can represent the AFC, but Ill still go with the Pats in that God awful conference

In the NFC, Ill go with the explosive Giants over the Pack in the NFC title game

And in that case, Ill hope the Pats make it

PS - There should be a rule in which the Falcons are not allowed in the Super Bowl until Matt Ryan retires

That seems to be the reactions of most. B+ is what i have seen it graded by a few of the draft pundits. That could swing wildly up or down depending on what happens with Conley

New England vs Arizona.

To tell you the truth I'm not confident in Arizona mainly because of Palmer, but David Johnson tho.

I had Pats vs Giants as well. I hope I'm half-right.

Was Conley always the #2 CB? Picking the 3rd best Ohio St CB in the past couple of years in rd1 seems relatively risky.

#2 at Ohio State or the draft? Conley came out initially ranked pretty low pre combine. He had a very good combine and I am guessing more started digging into his tape and he rocketed up the charts. Most had him pegged top 15 before the accusation

I think so. Their offense is fairly set and they needed help in the secondary which they got. As long as the CB they selected doesn't get in trouble with the law he should be a great player for them. And some woman coming out of the woodwork with r*pe charges RIGHT before the draft and a guy about to get millions? HA, I barely side with any woman accusing r*pe in these situations these days... and women have done it to themselves with their bogus/false claims, especially to athletes. Give me a fuckin' break.

Then they got Obi who is an extremely talented and athletic safety.. Bruce Irvin can easily drop into pass coverage as he did so many times with Seattle. And they got an athletic DT who was once a former 1st rounder if he can secure the injury issue... allowing Mack/Irvin to blitz and provide more pressure.

What's not to like about Oakland's draft, assuming Conley doesn't get busted (which I doubt he will)?
